I ordered this phone as i was looking for a budget smartphone to give my mom. I ordered 2 x Doogee X5 phone as i was amazed by the specs and wanted to give it a try. Phone came within 25days of ordering. I wasn't able to track the package but the customer service asked me to wait few more days and it turned up by Royal Mail, even it was initially posted by different courier.
After receiving the phone i opened one box and from then i was really amazed by the phone. Everything you need for a smartphone is there and its not just very cheap parts they used. I am using it for 2 weeks now and i love it. Not too complicated phone to start with. Very simple settings. I verified with the serial number @ www.doogee.cc to make sure it was an original dodge product.
In conclusion, for £35 it is worth buying and keeping. I rooted it , for rooting you need to update it to the latest firmware. Mine was 15v but i updated manually to 17v and rooted. All instructions for rooting are available at Check the latest comment sin that blog for the new method to root your x5. "
